- Self Care CountsWhile you are in the process of obtaining your 12 hours of annual CASA training please know you can count one of your training hours as “Self Care Training”. This can be a yoga session, or some form of exercise that takes one hour. We will also count walks/jogs/ or therapy sessions. - The End of the Year is Almost Here!As we begin the final quarter of 2021, remember all active CASA Volunteers are required to obtain 12 hours of training credit each calendar year. Training can be obtained a number of ways like watching videos, reading books, viewing documentaries/webinars, or attending trainings throughout the community. You can see several approved lists of videos, readings, and movies under the Ongoing Training Opportunities tab of this Training Portal. - Our first NEWS update!As mentioned in previous emails, we are no longer using DocuSign to electronically fill out forms like the Professional Development Credit Report. A new system is in place called Formstack. You can expect to virtually complete forms with this platform in the future. Please have patience with us as we learn more about Formstack. For now, continue to complete Professional Development Credit Reports by requesting them from Nichole Dewberry and emailing them back to her.
