We are so excited to tell you about a new addition to the CASA Professional Development Experience: A CASA Book Club! Each month a book will be featured that the book club will read and then discuss together. Meetings will last an hour and take place at the CASA office. Training hours will be counted by considering the standard rule of readings for CASA training: 100 pages=2.5 hour, then we will add the one hour of book club meeting. While you are in the process of obtaining your 12 hours of annual CASA training please know you can count one of your training hours as “Self Care Training”. This can be a yoga session, or some form of exercise that takes one hour. We will also count walks/jogs/ or therapy sessions. In order to count this one hour of very important training all you have to do is completely fill out the Professional Development Credit Report.
